TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions govern the participation in the MFA GUITAR CAMP (“Event”), organized and directed by Davide Leoni. By registering and participating in the Event, you fully accept the following terms.

We invite you to read them carefully before completing your registration.

1. ORGANIZATION AND VENUE

The MFA GUITAR CAMP is an event suitable for guitarists and musicians of all ages/levels, created and directed by Davide Leoni. The 2025 edition will be held in Italy, at the Parc Hotel Paradiso & Golf Resort – Castelnuovo del Garda (VR) from 24 July to 27 July.

2. REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE

2.1 Registration: To participate in MFA GUITAR CAMP, you must complete the registration process by providing accurate and truthful data.

2.2 Confirmation: Participation will only be confirmed after payment of the registration fee. Fees are personal and non-refundable, except in the cases specified in the ‘Cancellations and Refunds’ section.

2.3 Participation: Registration guarantees access to the activities of the Event on the scheduled days and times. There are no refunds in the event of absence, even partial, by the participant.

2.4 Minors: Minor participants must be authorised by a parent or legal guardian by completing a written request.

3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

3.1 Cancellation by the Participant: Cancellations must be notified in writing and do not provide for a full or partial refund of fees paid. MFA allows 7 days from the completion of this form before payment is made. No fees can be refunded once payment has been made. If the participant does not pay the participation fee within 7 days of filling out this form, the booking will be automatically cancelled.

3.2 Cancellation by the Organiser: MFA GUITAR CAMP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to force majeure, unavailability of artists or other unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the amount paid will be refunded in full. Excluded from the refund are all costs incurred by the student independently and not paid to MFA.

4. SCHEDULE AND ACTIVITIES

• 4.1 Masterclasses and Workshops: Every day there will be masterclasses, performances and private lessons.
• 4.2 Evening performances: Each evening there will be either a performance by an artist ( with backing tracks and without Resident Band) or an activity with an educational background. Where provided, the stage will also be available for students to perform. More details on how to participate in the performances are given in the next lines.
• 4.3 Private Lessons: Private lessons with artists can be booked. Private lessons last 45 minutes. (limited availability, at additional cost).
• 4.4 Schedule: The final calendar with times and activities for each day will ONLY be sent to regularly registered participants.

5. RULES OF CONDUCT

5.1 Behaviour: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other participants, the organiser and the artists. Anyone adopting an inappropriate or disruptive attitude may be excluded from the Event without the right to a refund.

5.2 Observance of Regulations: During the Event it is compulsory to observe the rules of the host venue and current safety regulations.

6. ACCOMODATION

6.1 Accommodation: MFA GUITAR CAMP does not require specific accommodation. Participants may stay at the Parc Hotel Paradiso or choose other facilities nearby. Any offers and conventions have been communicated to participants prior to registration.

6.2 Meals: Restaurants are available on the premises without reservation. Meals are not included in the registration fee.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

MFA GUITAR CAMP is not liable for:

7.1 Accidents, theft or damage to persons or property during the Event.

7.2 Travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by participants.

7.3 Any changes to the programme due to causes beyond the organisation’s control.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND USE OF MATERIAL

8.1 Educational Content: All materials, lessons and content of the MFA GUITAR CAMP are the property of the organiser and the artists involved. Unauthorised recording or dissemination is prohibited.

8.2 Use of Image: By participating in the Event, you authorise the use of photos and videos for promotional purposes.

9. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be settled in the competent court of Milano.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By registering for the MFA GUITAR CAMP, the participant confirms that he/she has read, understood and accepted all the above terms and conditions.

TERMS AND REGISTRATION PROCESS

Your decision to register for MFA GUITAR CAMP 2025 constitutes your acknowledgement and consent to all terms and conditions of registration, payment and cancellation listed below.

MFA reserves the right to:

1. refuse admission in case of declaration of incorrect data or false identity
2. Replacing an artist for reasons NOT within our control (accident, illness, force majeure, bereavement, problems caused by others);
3. remove, even while the event is in progress and without refund:

• any person for any reason, including but not limited to any harm or potential harm the person may cause;
• in the case of threats, disorderly conduct, illegal activity, or for any other reason that is not prohibited by law but cannot be deemed appropriate for the situation;
• in case of a violation of the law;

ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICE BOOKINGS

• Responsibility of the organisation

MFA is not responsible for any problems related to the assigned room (e.g. type, equipment, cleanliness, maintenance).

Any specific requests regarding the room must be made directly to the Parc Hotel Paradiso.

INSURANCE

MFA recommends that you independently purchase insurance for transportation, lodging, and anything else that could be lost if the event is cancelled or postponed due to force majeure and or otherwise beyond MFA’s control.
